The Little One

I take a day off, and Bushbama & congress kill Chrysler. What a spectacular failure of the so-called bailout.

The death of Chrysler is probably the greatest government-induced corporate failure, ever. GM is close on their heals. The White House continues to refuse to honor Ford warranties, bizarrely denying Ford employees equal protection under the law--an apparent attempt keep the playing field as leveled as the state-run economy. Assuming one characterizes killing 2 out of the previous Big 3, in a couple of months, an "economy."

  2. Personally It's the blatant lies I find hardest to swallow, just look at this:

'No one should be confused about what a bankruptcy process means. This is not a sign of weakness but rather one more step on a clearly charted path to Chrysler's revival.'

How much doublethink can we take? I wrote a piece (rant) about it on globaleconomix.blogspot.com and would be interested in your views.
